A quickly implementable room ventilation system must utilize existing ventilation options – the windows.
However, in tilt position, they only allow for a small air exchange. When fully opened, the air exchange becomes nearly uncontrollable.
The WindowBooster® blows up to 1,400 m³ of room air out through the gap of a tilted or slightly opened window every hour, while the same amount of outside air flows – regardless of the weather – back into the room through the window.
Any other window in the room can serve as an additional air inlet. The generated outside air exchange is sufficient for up to 50 people.
The Idea
The WindowBooster® is the perfect fresh air machine that doesn’t fit into any known category.
It is window ventilation with full control capability. Or it is a ventilation device. But only that. Without extras. However, it also comes without planning and construction effort, without facade breakthroughs, and without extensive duct networks. The WindowBooster® draws in room air and blows it out through a window gap. It thus functions as an exhaust device with natural outside air inflow. Existing windows serve as supply and exhaust openings.
Thanks to its simple installation, the WindowBooster® is flexible and can be used in many areas.

The Person Behind it
The innovative exhaust device was developed by Dr.-Ing. Christoph Meyer. His Consultancy for Building Climatology has been advising on indoor climate and energy efficiency in buildings for over 20 years, with a particular focus on natural and hybrid ventilation concepts, indoor air quality, and thermal comfort.
Not every innovation is a step forward – the WindowBooster® is both.
